Overview
Metal mirrors has been prevalent in India for 2000 years, since metal age. Aranmula mirrors specifically has been around for around 350 years.
Aranmula Kannadi is India’s 2nd GI product and Kerala’s first.
Unlike mercury coated mirrors, the image formed on the front surface of the mirrors is without any refraction which makes Aranmula mirrors stand out.

Creating an illustrated children’s story book teaching them about the history &story behind Aran mu la mirrors to help them better empathise and educate them on the same.

created by VT Thomas (known by the pen name Toms) and is one of the longest uninterruptedly running comic series of the world.
